▪ Please arrive at court on time.
▪ Do not bring any weapons to court (for example, pocket knives)
▪ Go to court even if you are late, because an order for arrest may be issued for you if you do not attend.
▪ Wear appropriate attire.
▪ Be quiet and do not talk in the courtroom.
▪ Do no take advice from anyone other than a court official or your attorney.
▪ Interpreters cannot give legal advice.
▪ Do not pay anyone until a court official directs you to do so.
▪ Make payments directly to the Clerk's office when you receive your bill.
▪ Find out from the Clerk's office if you interpreter was paid for by the State or if you are responsible for payment.
▪ Make copies of anything you give the court and keep all receipts for any payments your make.
▪ Posting a bond does not mean that you do not have to return to court. A bond merely assures the court that you will return on your court date.
